Hotel in the Dolomites
in a quiet and peaceful area
Where Hotel Ca 'del Bosco is placed and why right here
Hotel Ca 'del Bosco is located in the Eastern Dolomites, in Santa Fosca hamlet of Selva di Cadore, Province of Belluno. We have the privilege of operating in an absolutely central area , not too far from various places, a must for enthusiasts. First of all, our Ski Civetta Area (Selva di Cadore - Alleghe - Val di Zoldo) is the largest in the Veneto Region and is part of the huge Dolomiti Superski Ski Network . This is why it is possible, directly from Selva di Cadore, to easily plan and execute the most popular tours such as the Great War Tour and the Four Passes Tour . Our area, between Monte Civetta and Monte Pelmo , offers the possibility of two cross-country skiing facilities (Peronaz - just outside Pescul and Palafavera between the Municipality of Val di Zoldo and Passo Staulanza) .
The most famous and unmissable Dolomite passes as Falzarego Pass, Giau Pass, Pordoi Pass, Campolongo Pass and many others are easily reachable as they are only a few kilometers away. This is why even bicycle enthusiasts choose our Val Fiorentina valley as the starting point for their activities. What to say, then, about the possibility of staying in Selva di Cadore, and enjoying a unique scenery, embracing Monte Pelmo, Monte Civetta, La Marmolada and yet being so close to the famous Tofane, Croda da Lago, Col di Lana, Antelao, Monte Cristallo, the three peaks of Lavaredo, the Sella Group.
We are close to the airports:
Venice Marco Polo at 135 km
Treviso Canova 125 Kilometers
WHY PREFER HOTEL CA 'DEL BOSCO
We have carefully chosen this specific area, in the upper area of Santa Fosca, where to build our hotel, because we were attracted by the particular site, panoramic and quite, but must of all a very reserved location.
You can verify on the map below that Ca 'del Bosco Hotel is located at the foot of a wonderful coniferous forest and the access road, basically, at our exclusive service (a dead end road with no traffic at all)
The result is a pleasant sense of estrangement from the annoying noises of cars and motorbikes but also from the overcrowding which inevitably occurs, especially during peak periods, in the lower part of our Village.
As proof of this, it is not infrequent to meet even directly in our garden with the inhabitants of the forest such as Roe deer and Deer, but also Squirrels and the wonderful Muraiolo Woodpecker who cross over so far in fleeting visits.
From our terrace / solarium and from a good number of rooms the view is beautiful and heartening as the imposing Marmolada in the background and mounts Pelmo and Civetta watch over us, peaceful and benign.
